(1) I/O Error due to Invalid Unit Attention Response

Item Description
Contents Unit Attention (UA) detected and reported three times instead of once. As a result, volume
import failed. Two MPs, one even number and one odd number, connected to one port. The even
number MP controls the LU with even number while the odd number MP controls the LU with
odd number. System option mode 343 added so that, in case of Target Reset/ Logout, the UA
setting for the LU that each MP does not control can be restricted.
Mode 343 ON: UA setting is restricted (Each MP sets UA only for the LU under itself.)
Mode 343 OFF: UA setting is unrestricted. (UA is set onto LU under both MPs.)
Note: Mode 343 only applies to the AIX host.
Conditions The problem may occur when the following conditions are met:
1. AIX host
2. Logout processing is performed when volume group import.
