Notes:
1 Roof structures are to have sufficient expansion joints to enable it to cope with all expected
expansion and contraction.

2. When specifying the waterproofing system both its compatibility and the co-efficient of expansion
must be taken into account.

3. Due to the varied nature of the components employed to waterproof expansion joints, close
co-operation between the manufacturer/contractor and specifying bodies is required.
