The Units of Competency run concurrently, therefore they will not be signed
off until Semester 2. The interim report reflects the knowledge and skills that
the student is accomplishing and developing and includes:
non-supervised activity that involves the student:
undertaking self-paced study
undertaking research
preparing for and participating in performances
collection and analysis of industry information
preparing assignments, reports and other assessment materials

PRACTICAL SKILLS REPORT HIGH MEDIUM LOW
Vocal - Has clarity, flexibility, variation and
expression
Physical - able to use body to maximum
effectiveness for the accurate portrayal of character
Script - Researches, rehearses, learns script,
writes character backstories, shows understanding
of script, develops characters
Filming - Understands working in front of camera,
camera positions, prepares for auditions/screen-
tests, maintains focus, follows direction,
Understands constructive criticism
