ME TOOLS
TAPE MEASUREMENT TOOL

1) GO TO THE TOOLBAR MENU CHOOSE THE TAPE MEASUREMENT DRAG THE

MEASUREMENT TOOLS ON THE FACE OF YOUR POLYGON.

THIS WILL INDICATE THE

VALUE OF THE
DIMENSION. MAKE
SURE IT’S IN THE
CORRECT DIMENSION

DRAWING AN ARCH

TO MAKE A PRECISION ARCH, IT’S BEST TO HAVE A GUIDELINE. IF YOU OPT TO GO FOR A FREE STYLE,
JUST SELECT THE ARC FROM THE TOOLBAR MENU, AND DRAW.

ARCH TOOLBAR

THIS LINE (1) & (2) ACT AS THE

GUIDELINE FOR THE ARCH
STRUCTURE, SO THAT IT IS
SYMMETRICAL

FREEHAND TOOLS

The freehand tool allows you to create irregular lines. To use this tool, click and hold down your
mouse button, then drag your cursor around the screen to draw. Quite honestly, I’ve never really
found much of a use for this tool, but it’s there if you need it.

OFFSET TOOLS

1) DRAW A RECTANGLE CLICK THE PUSH/PULL BUTTON FROM THE TOOLBAR HOVER
YOUR MOUSE ON THE FACE OF THE POLYGON AND CLICK THE SURFACE ENTER THE VALUE OF THE
HEIGHT THAT YOU WANT HIT ENTER.

THEN CHOOSE THE OFFSET TOOLS AS IN NO (3) FROM
THE TOOLBAR SELECTION.

CLICK ON THE SURFACE UNTIL IT’S HIGHLIGHTED AS PER

FIGURE (5), AND ENTER THE AMOUT OF OFFSET THAT YOU
WANT.

1) DRAW A LINE AS ABOVE USING THE 2) DRAW A CIRCLE UNDERNEATH THE LINE, CLICK THE
LINE TOOLS AND ARCH TOOLS FOLLOW ME TOOLS AND DRAG THE CURSOR ALONG THE
PATH
