SYMPTOMS

On creating a new employee at Employment tab the Ethnic Origin EIT does not displaying

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Log into an HRMS Super Manager responsibility

2. Navigate to People Enter&Maintain
3. Create a new employee
4. Click on the Others button and from the LOV select Extra Information.
5. Look for US Ethnic Origin and it is not in the LOV

CAUSE

Thisis due to an Incomplete setup. The EIT was missing from the responsibility once it was
added the issue was resolved
Once the setup was correctly done the issue was resolved

SOLUTION

Perform the following steps.

1. Log into your HRMS Manager responsibility that you are using.
2. Navigate to Security/Information Types Security
3. In the Responsibilities region query up the Responsibility that you are using.
4. Once this is done then In the Information Types region query up US_ETHNIC_ORIGIN
5. If it does display then log an SR
6. If it does not display then add it and save
7. Now go to People/Enter&Maintain and then query up an employee and click on the
Others button and from the LOV select Extra Information.
8. Now scroll down until you see US Ethnic Origin
9. With that click in the Details box and see if it displays.
