EDUCATION
MA in Technical Communication and eLearning | University of Limerick
SEP 2017 – PRESENT
This MA, which will be completed in the summer of 2018, has exposed me to theories and
practical applications of eLearning models and digital communication practices. On this program,
I have gained experience using a range of multimedia and design tools (listed above), as well as
knowledge of current research methodologies in technical communications and emerging trends
in the industry. I developed projects from the storyboarding stage through to completion within
strict deadlines, often working on multiple projects at one time. I have worked on several
individual and collaborative projects during the course of the MA, resulting in a QCA of 3.47 after
the spring semester. My final thesis project involves the design of an eLearning resource for Post-
primary school history classes and is being built in collaboration with The Hunt Museum,
Limerick.
OTHER INTERESTS
In 2009 and 2014 I volunteered with the Daughters of Mary and Joseph Catholic order in
Ghana as an English teacher in middle and high schools.
I have run several fundraisers in Ireland and Dubai for a number of charities.
I have always maintained an active presence in Irish communities in my adopted homes. I
served as Chairman of Laochra Busan GAA club in South Korea in 2012.
I have completed several marathons and half marathons, and enjoy exploring the
mountains of Ireland on the weekends.
As part of the MA in Technical Communications and eLearning, I maintained a blog on
Wordpress discussing matters relevant to eLearning and a collaborative project I took
part in with students from Florida and Paris.
