    Statement of the Problem

    The main objective of this study is to ascertain if there is a need of developing a

    tutorial center in science for GRSHS-X students who have difficulties in understanding

    science which results to low performance among these students. This study aimed to

    answer the following questions

    1. What is the population of students in GRSHS-X who have average grades of below

    88% in science in the past semester?

    2. What are the common cases of the student's difficulty in understanding science?

    3. Is there a significant difference among the performance of students by comparing the

    average grades of students per quarter?

    Hypothesis:

    Ho: There is no significant difference among the performance of students by comparing

    the average grades of students per quarter.
