MEMBERSHIP OF CAG

Membership of the Chamber will be open to all legally registered companies and who as at the
time of applying got membership of the Chamber are in their third (3) year of operations. This is
to promote excellent agriculture and Agribusiness management and accountability.

Membership is made of three (3) groups. These are:

1. Agriculture and Agribusiness Companies

- Agriculture Importers and Exporters

- Agriculture Inputs Dealers

- Agriculture Processing Companies
- Agriculture and Agribusiness Business Advisory and Consultancy Companies

2. National Agriculture and Agribusiness Associations

- National Farmer Based Organizations (FBOs)

- Community Based Organization (CBOs)
- Farmers Cooperatives and Unions with National outlook or Exposure

3. Agriculture and Agribusiness Professionals and Professional Associations

EXPLANATORY NOTES
Association Member

Any individual or company, business and professional association or organization, whether district , regional or national
including bilateral Agriculture/Agribusiness Value Chains representing foreign business in Ghana.

Corporate Member

Any company, corporation and partnership involved in Agriculture and Agribusiness Value Chains. Whether private,
collective, public or state-owned and including foreign-owned entities, so long as they carry out all or part of their
operations in Ghana.

A Member has to pay an entrance fee and an annual subscription, payable in advance will be levied, depending on

Procedure for Application

Application for membership should be made by completing the attached Application Form and
submitting it to
The Chief Executive Officer, Plot G5 Old Oyibi police Station, Ayensu River Estate, Oyibi Accra,
or 666/14 Nii Noi Kwame Street, Dzorwulu, Accra, Ghana with a crossed cheque for the total
amount of the annual subscription applicable and the entrance fee payable to the "Chamber of
Agribusiness Ghana". Certified copies of the following documents are to be submitted also:-

For Association Member: i) Certificate of Registration

For Corporate Member: ii) Business Registration Certificate or Certificate of Incorporation

For Individual Member: iii) Certificate of Profession / Academic Card

For Students iv) Letter from the school and student I.D card

Membership Application

Applicants will be notified of the outcome of application once the membership committee has
reviewed and accepted or otherwise of the status of application.

The membership committee meets 6 six times in a year.
