Playday is the national day for play in Gueco Balibago Elementary School held on September 2,
2016 (Friday). Parade was held outside the vicinity of the school then followed by a mini program inside the
school campus and the presentation of muses and escorts from each grade level.

On playday, children get out from their classrooms to play outside. They took part in every
events organized by the coordinator in open spaces. Filipino games/ Larong Lahi were played by the children
like Tumbang Preso,Piko,Sack Race, Touching Ball, Ball Relay, Skipping Rope, Sipa, Hide and Seek and many
more.

Playday was celebrated in school by each grade level in a way that suit them, as well as a
celebration of children’s right to play. Playday is a campaign that highlights the importance of play in children’s
lives.
