Content Standard: The learner demonstrates understanding on the underlying concepts and principles in stocking of fingerlings and
stock sampling.

Performance Standard: The learner independently performs proper stocking of fingerlings and stock sampling based on industry
standards.

I. Objectives: At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
 Discuss taxonomic classification of Whiteshrimp, Giant Tiger Prawn and Mudcrab; and
their ecological behavior.

 Review (recall the concept of the past lesson)
 Checking of the assignment.

A. Activity -
The pair students will present their respective topic about culturable aquatic species base on
what they picked yesterday.

A. Analysis –
 Based on the activity, can you identify the taxonomic classification of the Whiteshrimp,
Giant Tiger Prawn and Mudcrab?
 What are their ecological behavior?

B. Abstraction
Discuss the importance in identifying the taxonomic classification of culturable aquatic species
in Aquaculture and their ecological behavior.

C. Application
 Each pair of presenter will be graded according to the rubrics below.

aquatic species that discussed earlier.
