The transport department (RTO) has done away with character
certificate as mandatory before issuance of driving license on
the basis of a recent supreme court PIL, as per published news
dated 22/06/2018
The applicant seeks information of relevant order including
circular issued by appropriate authority.
The applicant also seeks information of effective date since
when the aforesaid is implemented.
