Simple Friendship Pouch Saturday, October 2nd is World Card Making Day. As I am busy at the Home Based
Sign Up By Sun. Oct 17th Business Fair at Glenwood Centre that day, I will be holding my event on Sunday,
October 3rd from 1 to 4 pm. I have 11 volunteers signed up to come and make 4 cards
Wed. Oct 27th 1:00 pm each – I provide all the supplies necessary. Then I will package them up and ship them
Technique Class $5.00 off to our Vancouver Ronald McDonald House. Some Stampers who are unable to

This month the cards are made from `Just Believe` from page 109 of the main
Maggie Monday Classes catalogue. I have created 3 cards that use all the stamps in this set (see pictures to the
left). For class attendees I am once again offering a 25% discount on the stamp set.
Just want to make it clear that the discount is on the stamp set only, I will still be
charging the full S&H and Taxes as those are Stampin`Up! costs that I have no control
over.

One of these cards comes with a detachable, magnetized Bookmark. This would be an
awesome card / gift for someone who reads a lot. And when you remove the
bookmark, the card still looks fabulous.

Maggie Monday
Come and learn a quick easy Water Colouring technique and make a card using a
Magnolia Image. This one is Tilda With Flowers In Her Hair and she is supposed to
be carrying Easter Eggs (I think) but with a bit of Flower Soft, we turn them into more
flowers.
Stamp-A-Stack (3 cards)
“Just Believe” Stamp Camp
I have had a lot of interest in the Simple Friendship Pouch and Card set so I will be
Larger sized card:
offering classes on this in October. This will take approx 4 to 5 hours to complete, so I
am doing it as an all day Stamp Camp. Please bring your lunch and I will provide the
snacks, chocolate and drinks. See the pictures of the cards and the pouch to the left.
I will be offering 2 prices for this class. The first includes the stamp set `Simple
Friendship`, and if you already own it, the second price does not include the stamp set.
There is a lot of prep for this class as I stamp and cut out the butterflies and flowers for
you, so the sign up by date will give me time to do that, and order your stamp set. You
will also go home with the remainder of ½ a package of Basic Rhinestones. The class
is limited to 6 stampers at a time.
I have 3 dates available, Thurs. Oct 14, Sat. Oct 23, OR Tues. Oct 26.
The prices are:
a) Stamp set included $55.00 (taxes etc included)
b) Class Only $25.00 (taxes etc. included)

A different way to use ribbon: Punchie Class – Tues. Sept 28th
Another month of Punchies. I changed the images for September and included a
Halloween Card with pumpkins and ghosts along with the Loving Lion image. So this
month we will do the Hamburger and Bear. I had to change the date of this class this
month, I moved it up one week.

Scrapbooking 101 – Page #2

The second of our monthly Scrapbooking pages. This month we will do the Vintage
page (see picture to the left). In this class you do all the work. I provide the supplies
Elements Of Style stamp set and you will be doing the cutting, punching, colouring, etc.

Other Stuff . . . . . .
As I write this I am sitting in our trailer on McKenzie Beach in Tofino enjoying the
storm. And what movie do you think just came on the TV – yup how bizarre, its
Perfect Storm. Not a good movie to watch when you have 3 sea faring men in your life
and all 3 of them are at sea right now in this storm. Going to turn it off right now!`

I have lots of classes and things going on in October. Please make sure you note the
Sign Up By dates for anything you are interested in. My classes are starting to fill up
quickly, so don`t hesitate. I am still limiting the number of attendees for each class.
Scrapbooking If you want to take a class and can`t make it when it`s scheduled, we can make
101 arrangements. Also, if you and one to five friends / family members want to get
together for a day or evening of easy cardmaking, I am now offering Beginner
Vintage Scrapbook Page Stamping classes – 3 relatively easy cards and chocolate for $10.00.

A few Stampers still have some projects to come and complete. Please let me know
