Re: Writing and Communication Skills in Job Vacancies

Our village, Konoha, is suffering from the inevitable damages caused by the previous war. As a
developing village, we need buildings and roads to help us boost our economy to get back on track from
where we left. We have contacted firms that are willing to aid us accomplish our goals, but they are in
need of Civil Engineers with good Writing and Communication Skills. Listed here are Writing and
Communication Skills requirements:

Writing Skills:

 Must have knowledge in preparation of quantity estimates

 Experience working with Operations, Project Planning & Construction Management, MS Project
 Knowledge in Specification, Structural Computation, Scheduling, Gant Chart
 Can conduct Site supervision and Knowledgeable in interpreting construction drawing.
 Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
to recommend actions.
 Prepare the regular reports required (monthly/weekly basis) and submit to the Project
Manager/Project Monitoring Team/ VP Operations

Communication Skills:

 Knowledgeable in Building Codes, Ordinances & other regulations

 Adept in Quantity Surveying / Estimation & Construction Process
 Maintains construction schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, resolving
problems.
 Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, plan and changes in schedule to
recommend actions.
 Ensure proper execution of latest approved project design and specifications
 Coordinates with the liaison officer for the preparation of project billings
