A is for the alphabet which we learned how to say.
B is for boys and our busy bodies at work and play. C is for colors: red, yellow, blue and green D is for drawing pictures, some were really keen. E is for exercise to keep our bodies strong. F is for first grade fun that we’ve had all year long. G is for girls and the good friends we made this year. H is for hip-hip-hooray! Let’s give ourselves a cheer. I is for information the cool stuff that we learned. J is for jobs we completed and the joyful praise we earned. K is for keepsakes that we made along the way. L is for learning and listening; we got better every day. M is for math and figuring out what is correct. N is for being nice and not naughty and showing respect. O is for obstacles that we learned to overcome. P is for playing with puzzles and painting with our thumb. Q is for asking questions, an important thing to do. R is for reading and rhyming words too. S is for school it’s a cool place to be. T is for teachers they work hard for me. U is for understanding, it’s what we strive for. V is for volunteers who came in and out our door. W is for writing words, they’re wonderful to see. X is for eXcellent, it’s what I want to be. Y is for Yes! Yippee yahoo we are done! Z is for zipping to 2nd grade and more fun.
