RESOLUTION NO. 869

APPROVING THE COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN

AND ZONING ORDINANCE OF VALENZUELA CITY,
2009-2018
WHEREAS, the Board is empowered under Letter of Instruction No.
72g, Executive order (Eo) No. 648 Series of 1981 as amended by Eo No.
90 Series of 1986, Republic Act No. 7279, and the Local Government
code, as implemented by Executive order No. 72 Series of 1991 to review
and ratify land use plansof Independent Component and Highly Urbanized
Cities and Metro Manila local government units to ensure their compliance
with national strandards;

WHEREAS, Valenzuela City has completed the formulation of its

comprehensive Land Use Plan and Zoning ordinance through the
Municipat Development Council and the Municipal Planning and
Development Office;

WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and Zoning

Ordinance of Valenzuela City were adopted by the Sangguniang
Panlungsod of Valenzuela;

WHEREAS, the City of Valenzuela has complied with the prescribed

procedural and documentary requirements in CLUP and Zoning Ordinance
formulation process;

WHEREAS, after a review of the submifted plan documents

pursuant to the Review and Approval Process provided under HLURB
Board Resolution No. 769 Series of 20o4., the Board finds the
Comprehensive Land Use Plan and Zoning Ordinance of the Valenzuela
City substantially complies with national standards and guidelines on
Comprehensive Land Use Plan formulation;

WHEREFORE, be it RESOLVED as it is hereby RESOLVED that

the COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN, 2009-2018, Ordinance No. 79
Series of 2O1O and ZONING ORDINANGE 80 Series of 2010 of
VALENZUELA CITY be APPROVED, as the same are hereby
APPROVED.
