II. Subject/Skill:
Self Esteem
III. Objective(s)
Students will learn the correct meaning and definition of Self Esteem. Then while
keeping this in mind take a short self-assessment of their strengths and weaknesses.
This will not be shared with the class and will help the students perceive their own
weaknesses privately without fear of ridicule or humiliation.
IV. Procedures:
1. First give an accurate definition of self-esteem and its meaning in our society.
2. Explain why it is important to have high self-esteem and explain that there is no
such thing as too much self-esteem!
3. Self-Evaluation for students to examine their own self-esteem.
4. It’s OK to sometimes fail, BE POSITIVE!

5. Have students review the answers and suggestions for their quiz at:

6. Educate students on how to improve their self-esteem. Things they can down do
alone daily to make themselves feel better about themselves!
V. Materials
This can then be further educated by teaching how Male and Female self-esteem
questions and suggestions may not always be the same.
VII. Assessment
Did the students actively take the test and answer it honestly?
Recommend they review the Self-Esteem Tip Sheet and try to do daily activities
to improve their self-esteem.
