1. About Us.
The college of opportunity, creativity, and known for the college of genuine students
affiliated by the international university from Malaysia (Lincoln University College)
located in the heart of beautiful city Pokhara (Pokhara Lincoln International College). It
follows on the footstep of student intended projects and events as applied by the most
happening business school. We are conducting two different world desiring program
BHM and BBA with the family member of 300 students and many supportive member.
PLIC offer the best course designed among different college located within
Pokhara valley along with the international degree within this beautiful place.

2. Lincoln Innovation 2018

Lincoln innovation 2018 is a national level management fest designed for the students of
bachelor’s level. With tagline,“Mind|Motivation|Manner”. We are trying to acclimatize
our participants to the real business world. The event will introduce the participants to all
those exciting opportunities and challenges ever present in management and help smooth
the transition from university degree to the corporate world out there.

Why participate?
It is a student-initiated event that aims to bring about positive changes on the way we
learn. We are getting drowned in books and exams, reciting tedious theories and rules
without properly grasping them. Innovation is trying to give you insights people acquire
years down the line in their career.
This event is not a one-off but a revolution that is catching speed and earning reputation
in various business schools throughout the globe. Innovation is a platform to perform
against the brightest brains of the country and make your own mark. It also helps you
connect with the corporate big shots who will be invited to be in the judging panel. It is
an exciting 2 days journey to embark.

managerial and entrepreneurial skills and mindsets.

Our Objective
To bring a positive change on the way we learn, establish a culture of practical and
simulated learning exercise and develop the capacity of an individual to groom
him/herself in the business world.
4. Event Details

Program Details
Date: July 21th and 22th
Venue:
Day 1: Pokhara Lincoln International College, Simalchaur-8, Pokhara Lekhnath
Day 2: Event Hall of Pokhara Lincoln International College.

Lincoln Innovation is being organized by the students of Pokhara Lincoln International

College. It will see the participants from across Nepal compete to become a successful
entrepreneur, the best salesman, the best resource manager, the best investor and an
exceptional communicator and leader.

Methodology of event
Selected business colleges from all over Nepal will be invited; we are expecting 20
colleges to participate. Each team will have a total of six participants. Each participating
team will be kept in contact through email and phone. Students participating from outside
a minimum traveling distance will be provided with accommodation.
Each team will receive different pre-tasks and other tasks related to the events. Students
will be judged based on their performance on those tasks, the way they present and their
handle on challenging and demanding tasks.

Human Resource Management
Required Participant – 1

One of the most important resource that make up the workforce of an organization;
Human Resource needs great inter-personal skills, creativity, presence of mind and
good reasoning ability from an HR manager. The act of managing people; this event
forces participant to tackle different challenging situations and demonstrate
exceptional ability of managing employees. This event will introduce the participants
to the concepts of personnel management, human resource management, human
resource development, organizational behavior and so on.

Wealth Management
Required Participant - 2

Investing is at the heart of current economic system. Being at the berth of the
fluctuating financial markets such as the bull market, bear market and the chicken
market; the participants will face stiff choices and put their fine instincts to a test.
Participants will explore a plethora of investment opportunities and showcase their
skill of numbers with calculated predictions and the ability to seek better deals. Be
ready for the riches or the rags.

Entrepreneurship
Required Participant - 2

Entrepreneurship is the process of designing, launching and running a new business.

Can you visualize an idea and create something out of nothing? Develop what it takes
to emerge and stand out in the existing market. Participants will work on building
their entrepreneurial spirit and learn what it takes to survive against the odds. It’s not
just about ideas, it’s about making those ideas happen. Start, run and grow your
business.
 Marketing
Required Participant – 1

The heart of your business success lies in its marketing. Can you penetrate the market
with your product/ services against the existing players? The participants will
demonstrate their skills on trending marketing concept and will be able to familiarize
with current market scenario. You will be able to familiarize yourself with
technicalities like advertising, public relations, promotions and sales.

Group Task
This is the most enthralling event of all. Apart from individual competencies,
collaboration and team work is what distinguishes good leaders from the rest. This
event complements all the other events of the fest and helps bring out the synergy
effect on teams. It teaches participants about leadership, managing, organizing,
delegation and public relations. We aspire to bring out the team player in our
participants.
