The Patriotic Service was truly an awesome
worship experience where we both worshipped our
Lord and gave thanks to Him for our independence
as Americans. We also honored our men and
women who have served or are presently serving
our nation in one of our armed forces.
Lance Maddox and Eddy Williams led our
worship along with our adult choir and orchestra.
Our tech crew and many of our youth made this
a great worship experience. Gayla Reaves-Hall
prepared our salute to our military. We are thankful
to the many Eastmont men and women who were
present and represented their branches of service.
Our Country/Country concert was a great
way to wrap up a great day as many from our music
ministry performed both patriotic and country
music (of the Nashville variety). Plenty of food was
served and fellowship was had and a crew of many
volunteers, who assisted in food preparation, setting
up, serving, and cleaning made it go off without
a hitch. But it was your participation, Eastmont
family and friends, that made this a great day!
Thank you everyone and most of all, we thank You,
our Lord Jesus Christ!

“Thank You! Thank you for the many that served, sacrificed,
and shared in our Time Lab VBS. We averaged over 400
children and volunteers during the week. For our missions
offering they gave $1200 to the Alabama Baptist
Children’s Home!
Real Encounter Outreach event - July 15th
at Eastdale Mall at 1 PM near the food courts - Extreme
Sports Gospel presentation through Mountain Bike stunts.

Nerf Night with FBC - July 18th
Meet at Eastmont at 5 PM to ride buses over, will return
at 7:30 PM. Bring your own Nerf gun, but no bullets. For
parents and children grades 1st-6th

BISCUITS BASEBALL SIGNUP
Sunday, July 22, the student ministry will attend a Biscuits
baseball game at Riverwalk Stadium. The cost to attend

Guatemala Mission Trip - November 16-24, 2018
Deposit and copies of passports needed ASAP. (If you
were on the trip last year I already have a copy of your
passport). Next meeting July 8 at 4pm in Room 110.
Guatemala Disaster Relief
Guatemala is a place near and dear to the heart of our
church. We have grieved along with them in the wake
of the devastating volcanic explosion. If you’d like to
donate monetarily to the relief efforts, cash can be given
to Gene or Billy. Checks made out to Eastmont, memo
“Guatemala”.
