Subject : Reducing sound and vibration when arm in operation

1. Background of Information
There are few reports that operator feels a slight noise and or vibration at the moment arm
pulled vertical while arm-in independent or arm-boom simultaneous operation. And also
reported that this phenomenon is generally identified in the work on the soft ground
relatively. This sound is caused by arm-in recirculation PSV under oscillation of "Dither
vibration" and "Spool" become equalized, and it causes the upper frame to resonate.

2. Contents of Design change 0.8mm size orifice

connector
Reviewed design and newly add a 0.8mm size
orifice connector at the pilot line of arm
recirculation PSV in order to shift oscillation
point for no sound of resonance.
(Sound; Various kinds such as "Boon", "Gwa" etc)

P/No. of orifice connector: YN06H01017P1

Note: Tightening torque is 74± 5 N.m

4. Action Required
If customer complaint about the sound and or vibration while arm-in operation, you are
required to test the unit to ensure the condition and install the orifice connector to solve
problem.

5. Rework Instruction
Insert 0.8mm orifice connector P/No.YN06H01017P1 on the top of the arm recirculation
spool cap ”a6 port" as illustrated in above.
