1. Subjective(or Authorial or Neutral) POV Shots in XXX’s Film OOO (5 min)
I. What is a subjective(or authorial or neutral) POV shot? [refer to the course material on May 21] II. A summary of the movie and explain why do you need to analyze the (Subjective or Authorial or Neutral) POV shots in this movie. III. Select a sequence(6 shots at least). In this sequence, the shots should illustrate subjective, or authorial, or neutral point of view. Analyze the shot types and identify the point of view in them. IV. Explain the importance of these POV shots: relate them to the theme of the film.
2. OOO as a Symbol in XXX’s Film OOO (5 min)
I. A summary of the movie II. Based on the summary, identify the theme or subject of the film III. Identify one important symbol: Why do you think OOO is an important symbol in this film? 1. Examples(shots or transcripts) to show the symbol 2. Explain different or similar meanings of the symbol in these examples (shots or transcripts) IV. How does this symbol relate to the theme of the film?
3. Original Short Film Making (5 min)
i. 2-4 persons in a group ii. Write a summary of your movie (100~200 words) iii. Compose your original English transcript iv. Each member should act(with lines) in the film v. Length of the film should be 5 minutes 4.Comparison of a Taiwan film and a Foreign Film

B. Present your work on the final exam day June 28. C. Duplicate submission of your report or work is not allowed. You’ll fail when caught. D. Your final presentation will be recorded on the test day.
