How to multiply two matrices with

quick method.
Condition: no. of columns (n) of first matrix= no. of rows (m) of second
matrix.

Let have an illustration on behalf of it to learn the shortcut method.


Example:
2 1
2 5 2
, B= 1 2
5 3 1
Let A=
5 5
Then; AB=?
Rows of 1st matrix Columns of 2nd matrix
(2,1,5) (1,2,5)
(2,5,2) (4+5+10=19) (2+10+10=22)
( 5,3,1) (10+3+5=18) (5+6+5=16)

19 22
18 16
AB=

Note: This method is quite easy as compared to long descriptive method.
