7. DEPOSITS OR RESERVOIRS EPITHERMAL HIGH SULFIDATION:

Tank model

High sulfidation deposits are spatially related and diatremes volcanic

centers, generated very near the surface in conjunction with mineralization
magmatic intrusions.

Mineralization and alterations occur near the surface between 500m 2Km.

Typically the geometry of the ore body is small and equidimencional.

With regard to the forming temperature is between 100 ° C to 320 ° C,

however, it found associations to 480 ° C.

A generally high sulfidation fluids are primarily derived from a magmatic

source and precious metals deposited near the surface when the fluid is
cooled or diluted by mixing with rainwater.

In addition, the fluids (mostly gases, vapors at high temperature) is

characterized by being extremely acidic (have H2S and HCl), ie with sulfur
in oxidation state +4 +6 or, that is, "high sulfidation" also they are
presented in chemical imbalance with the host rocks.

Keep in mind that the alteration of the tops of the volcanic structure is
caused by the release of vapors (gases) and acidic fluids, and vents
associated with volcanic conduits (chimneys).

Finally, the precious metals in solution are directly originating magma or

can be leached from Guest volcanic rocks as the fluids flow through them.
