THE EFFECTIVENESS OF A COMBINED LEARNING MODEL FOR THE TEACHING OF

ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE: EMPIRICAL STUDY

ABSTRACT

This article provides effective guidance guides for researchers who develop computational
platforms for learning foreign languages. The main objective is to visualize how the
methodological principles coming from the language teaching approaches ("Task-Based
Language Teaching" and "Cooperative Learning") can be applied effectively in the design
of activities for the development of language skills in non-contact and blended
environments. To do this, empirical evidence is explored about the effectiveness in learning
English as a foreign language in the modalities of blended teaching vs. face-to-face
teaching in a study based on an experimental design pre-and post-test control group. The
results show that the increase in English learning as LE was higher in the experimental
group that used the blended modality with respect to the control group that worked with the
face-to-face modality. It is proposed, then, that in the design of platforms for the teaching
of languages, methodological models of Combined Learning be included and implemented.

EFFECTIVENESS ED A LEARNING MODEL COMBINED FOR THE ENGLISH

LANGUAGE TEACHING LIKE FOREIGN LANGUAGE: A STUDY EMPIRICIST

ABSTRACT

In this article they provide guidelines of efficacious orientation for the investigators that
develop computational platforms for the learning of foreign languages. The main objective
is visualizing how principles the originating metodológicos of the tuitional focuses of tongues
(Enseñanza of Lenguas based in Tareas and Cooperative Aprendizaje) can be applied with
efficacious way in the design of developmental activities of the linguistic skilful actions in
environments not eyewitness and semi-eyewitness. For it, explores him evidence empiric
about the effectiveness in the learning of the Englishman like foreign language in the
varieties of semi-eyewitness teaching vs. eyewitness teaching in a study once an
experimental design was based on semipresencial post-test control group. Results show
that the increment in the learning of the Englishman as HE WAS SUPERIOR TO YOU in
the experimental group that used the semi-eyewitness mode regarding the control group
that worked with the eyewitness mode. He is offered, then, that in the design of platforms
for the teaching of tongues it is included and implement models metodológicos of Combined
Aprendizaje.

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF A MODEL OF LEARNING COMBINED FOR THE EDUCATION

OF THE INGLÉS LIKE FOREIGN LANGUAGE: EMPIRICAL STUDY

ABSTRACT

In this article there are provided guides of effective orientation for the investigators who
develop computational platforms for the learning of foreign languages. The principal aim is
to visualize how the methodological beginning from the approaches of education of
languages (" Education of Languages based on Tasks " and " Cooperative Learning ") can
be applied in an effective way in the design of activities for the development of the linguistic
skills in environments do not attend them and semipresenciales. For it, empirical evidence
is explored pre brings education over of the efficiency in the learning of the Englishman as
foreign language in the modalities of education semipresencial vs. presencial in a study
based on an experimental design - and post-test group control. The results show that the
increase in the learning of the Englishman like HIM was top in the experimental group that
used the modality semipresencial with regard to the group control that worked with the
modality presencial. He proposes, then, that in the design of platforms for the education of
languages should be included and implements methodological models of Combined
Learning.
