Maudy's first major film debut was Untuk Rena (2005) acting alongside Surya Musical career
Saputra. Following, she landed a bigger role in Sang Pemimpi (2009), directed Genres Pop
by Riri Riza. She played a character by the name Zakiah Nurmala, as the Instruments Vocals · piano
protagonist's love interest,[2] where her song "Mengejar Mimpi" was also

Production
In 2011, Ayunda appeared in the movie musical Rumah Tanpa Jendela[3] and Associated acts David Choi · Iwa

produced three other singles: "Cinta Datang Terlambat", "Bayangkan Rasa" and "Untuk Apa" and earning Multi-Platinum
award due to selling over 200.000 copies.[8]

In 2016, Walt Disney Pictures selected Maudy to sing the soundtrack "How Far I'll Go" translated from the Indonesian
version "Seberapa Jauh Ku Melangkah" for a Disney film Moana.[9]

Education
Ayunda was a runner-up in a speech competition at her school. In addition to English, she speaks Mandarin and
Spanish.[10][11] After graduating from the British International School, Maudy enrolled at the University of Oxford to study
Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE). She graduated from Oxford in 2016.[12][13][14]

Activism
In addition to developing career in the entertainment, Maudy also pays attention to Social, Politics, and Economy of
Indonesia, especially that gives a direct impact on the lives of young people. In 2015, she was appointed to accompany
Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, David Cameron, during his visits in Jakarta.[12][15][16]

Maudy became an ambassador to bring the message to the younger generation against modern slavery. In March 2017, she
was appointed as spokesperson for the movement against modern slavery at the Vice Presidential Palace in Jakarta.
Modern slavery in this case is people who work under pressure and those who do not get their rights as workers. As a
singer-songwriter, she will convey messages of struggle against slavery through her works. In addition, through her social
media, Maudy wanted to influence the views of her followers about slavery.[17][18]

Personal life
As of 2015, she is in a relationship with Arsyah Rasyid, an Indonesian CEO and co-founder of multimedia company called
Kokatto.[19][20]
