PEULICH: Labor-Greens Coalition Bad for Kingston

Acting leader of the Greens, Ellen Sandell has let the cat out of the bag about plans for the Greens Party
and Labor to form a coalition government.

Member for South Eastern Metropolitan Region, Inga Peulich MLC warned that the greening of Labor will
mean more traffic congestion, more violent crime and higher cost of living for residents in the City of
Kingston.

Over the past year, electricity prices in Kingston have increased by $300 and under a Greens influenced
energy policy, energy prices would spiral out of control.

A Labor-Greens coalition also means an education curriculum that will become even more focused on
radical ideological and a social reform agenda, and less on literacy and numeracy.

At the last election, Daniel Andrews promised to tear up the East West Link contract promising it wasn’t
worth the paper it was written on. That lie to win Greens votes cost taxpayers $1.3 billion -imagine how
much money Daniel Andrews is prepared to waste at the next election to win Greens support?

Kingston households will have two clear choices this November - a stable Liberal-Nationals Government
with bold policies or a chaotic and dysfunctional Labor-Green government.

Quotes attributable to Member for South Eastern Metropolitan Region, Inga Peulich, MLC:

“Kingston’s population growth mandates investment in infrastructure, but if given more influence, the
Greens will stall all future infrastructure projects like roads, putting the municipality further behind.”

“The Greens are more concerned with protecting criminals than protecting innocent victims, and Labor
would rather turn a blind eye to rising crime in Kingston.”

“Only a Liberal Nationals government can address cost-of-living pressures, rising crime rates, and
infrastructure projects that Kingston needs - if Labor and Greens win, Kingston households lose.”
