Computer as 3Ts Reflection

Computer as 3Ts is defined in terms of computer as tools, computer as tutor, and computer as tutee.

In my opinion a computer acts a tool because it is the object to make our job done at ease.
Almost all occupations requires at least a computer in their field. For instance, a teacher uses a
computer to construct lesson plans for his upcoming lessons. It makes ease a teacher because typing in
computer is much more convenient that writing so many lesson plans in a short time.

Besides that, a computer does also acts as a tutor for learners. We as the learner may gain
knowledge through the information shown from the screen of the computer. A pupil learns about
animals in the zoo through a computer is one of the examples. It makes ease to access the information
through information and communication technology (ICT) skill that searching books for the related topic
is time-constraining.

Last but not least, a computer as tutee means the computer is literally being taught to do the
work. We can see this when we use software that the end product is related to the presentation of the
knowledge acquired. In example, a university student is using an fl studio software that he programmed
it and later on producing a music to be presented for his project report. It shows that computer is not
only to be used, to teach, but also to be taught in this modern era of ICT.
