You will need:

You will also need craft glue and 3 chenille stems to complete
your project.

Tip: Design your own unique project by changing the bead colors.
Instructions
1. Place your beads on the peg boards as shown. If you are using a clear
pegboard, slide the actual-size pattern underneath it.
2. Ask an adult to fuse your designs—see Fusing Instructions on page 3.
3. Assembly: see instructions on pages 7, 8 and 9.

Umbrella Part 2

Fusing Instructions - Only Adults Iron

1. Place your peg board on a flat, heat-safe surface.

2. Set a household iron to the medium setting. Place ironing paper over the
peg board. In a circular motion, begin to iron the project. When ironed
properly, the beads will still have an open center. Let the design cool.
3. Remove the paper and bead design from the peg board. Flip the design
over to expose the non-fused side. Repeat step two. Let cool completely.

Note: Beads need heat for about 10-20 seconds per side to fuse evenly. Depending on the size of the project, additional heating
time may be required. Since you are working on a 3-D project, DO NOT OVER-IRON the beads as it will make the centers of the
beads close and can make assembly more challenging.

Assembly
Umbrella
1.To create the umbrella pole, slide the
bead pieces onto chenille stems. Glue
the pieces to make the pole firm. Do not Part 2
trim the chenille stems.
2.Insert the pole through the small and big
stands to give your umbrella a base.
3. Use the ends of the chenille stems to tie 4
part 1 of the umbrella as shown. Twist to
secure.
4. Matching slot to slot, slide part 2 of the
umbrella onto part 1.

5 Bucket
5. Align the color circles as shown and glue
them together. Let dry.
6. String 30 cheddar beads onto a chenille stem.
7. Loop this through the two top layers of the
bucket and twist to secure.

Chair
8. Insert back legs into the back of the chair as
shown. By inserting only the first bead, it will
allow the chair to recline.
9. Insert chair arms into the sides of the seat, then
insert the seat into the back of the chair.
