This learning task will require you to

design and create your very own castle.

Mr Wylie will provide your group with

plenty of cardboard and materials.

Your castle should be a realistic one, based on information you have learnt about
the different types, purposes and facilities of medieval castles.

Therefore your castle should:

 Be constructed in one of the common structures of medieval castles.
 Have well planned out areas with specific functions.
 Have historically accurate and effective defences.

for your architect before they can draw up some designs.
