ABSTRACT

Play group education relationship with language development in children aged 3-4
years in the village of Tuban Merakurak the District Senori

According to data from the Department of Education, Youth and Sports Tuban
in 2013 about the number of students of early childhood education (play group),
mentioned that the sheer number of children who attend group educational play
(play group) as many as 557 children consisted of 279 boys and 278 girls.
Meanwhile, based on data from health centers get Merakurak in that the number
of children aged 3-4 years as much as 783, this shows that there are still 226
toddlers who still do not get a play group education
.
The design of this study is analytical, cross sectional approach with a
population of 40 children, so we get a large sample of 36 children. Sampling
technique using simple random sampling and data collection using a closed
questionnaire and observation techniques, while the test used is the Chi Square.

Based on the results, respondents are almost entirely of 24 respondents


(66.6%) palay education group, respondents with a corresponding development of
as many as 23 respondents (63.9%) and respondents who get pendididkan play
group that is experiencing a development according to 22 respondents (91 , 7%).
Based on Chi Square test using SPSS version 16 X2 = 24.332 obtained value and
the value of ρ = 0.000, where p <0.05 then H0 is rejected it means there is a
relationship between educational play group with language development in
children.
From the description above it can be concluded that education paly
perkembagan language group can affect children, so expected that the community
needs to better understand the importance of providing education tentenag paly
group for children aged 3-4 years, in order to support the further development of
the child.
