To utilize my skills in an educational setting in a manner that supports the students, staff, and community needs.

Experience
Baldwin Park Unified School District - ’06-current
Instructional Aide of Specialized Health/Behavior (K-12) – provide support inside and outside of the classroom for
students with special needs while assisting the teacher and other staff. Duties include but are not limited to toileting
(potty training, diapering, catheterization, etc.), medication administration (including epi-pen for severe allergic
reactions to prevent fatal shock), feeding tube, behavior modification, instruction of small group activities, monitor
students at playground and cafeteria, light clerical duties such as filing and photocopying as well as correspondence
with parents, specialists, administrators, and paraprofessionals. Log and maintain records of important events,
services, meetings, student goals, and data (behaviors) for IEP’s. CPR, First aid, and CPI trained.

RISE Programs - 2017


Educational and events consultant for community/business/personal development programs. Assist in
coordinating events, securing vendors, sponsorships, and community outreach. Facilitate meetings and
partnerships with private enterprise, public works (city officials and local school districts), teachers,
volunteers, parents, and student leadership.

Lincoln Training Center – 2006


Assistant warehouse manager at a facility which employs adults with disabilities, where clients perform a variety of
tasks, and are provided with an enhanced lifestyle by participating as productive members of society. Supervise
team leaders to oversee and monitor production of over 200 workers as they complete assembly, packing,
palletizing, shipping, etc., in order to meet production deadlines.

Sierra Vista High School – 2002-2007


Assistant varsity baseball coach. Player and team development; Technical review and assessment of practice and
games to adequately adjust rotation or line-up and maximize player performance. Coordinating specific offensive
and defensive drills as needed while tending to the mental aspects of the game with discipline through mentoring,
practice, and an emphasis on teamwork.
