Hi
God has opened the door for me to go on a short-term mission
trip November 5 – 19, 2018 to Monrovia, Liberia, as a community member
with a local church, Madison Square. I'm very excited about the opportunity
and experience that lie ahead. We will explore the historical connection
between Liberia and the United States; continue building a Cross-
Cultural/International Relationship between citizen of Monrovia and the
team, from Grand Rapids that began in 1999. We will have opportunities in
learning and serving in the areas of a medical clinic; women’s ministry;
business & community development; entrepreneurial & asset development;
and worship leading.
I’m asking family and friends to partner with me in this opportunity and
journey. First and foremost, I am seeking partners who will support and
uplift me in prayer as I begin preparing for the trip and while on the trip.
Prayers for mental and physical endurance and prayers for spiritual growth
are needed. Because prayer support is vital to the success of this mission, I
would like to add you to my team of Prayer Warriors. Can I count on you to
pray for me and the team now until our return on November 19?
Second, I ask you to prayerfully consider becoming a financial partner with
me, also, in this opportunity. The cost for me will be approximately $2,100
this cost includes travel, lodging, immunizations, and ministry
opportunities/needs in Liberia. Would you consider making donation to help
me reach my goal for this ministry opportunity? If you are not able to give
at this time, your prayers are appreciated. Much of the cost of the trip,
$1,500, is due by July 10th, 2018.
