During 2010 I acted as CFO and Head of Strategy for Rigon Holdings the international licensee for ZillionTV
of the US. Zillion with VC backing developed and beta launched an IPTV platform for the on-demand
delivery of movies, TV, sports and music. For Rigon I developed all business plans, secured investment
bankers, wrote a fund raising Information Memorandum and developed Investor Presentations. Additionally
I negotiated international IP license rights and secured local programming for the platform.
Previously in 2002 acting as an independent advisor I worked with the founders of Unwired Limited to
write the business plans, develop investor presentations and undertake road shows in the US for the
initial raising of $100m to acquire new radio frequency spectrum being auctioned by Federal
Government in order to establish a wireless broadband network. I also acted as Interim CFO until a
fulltime executive was established.
Quickflix Limited –
Independent Non Executive Director Current
Quickflix is a Public Company listed on the ASX and based in Perth with offices throughout Australia. It is
Australia’s leading on-line DVD rental company offering a service similar to Big Pond Movies in Australia and
Netflix in the US.
I was invited to join the Board of Quickflix due to my long term involvement in the media industry and my
strong connections with the Sydney financial, banking and broking community.
Appointed as an Independent Non Executive Director I am also on the Company’s Audit and Compliance
Committee and its Non Executive Director Committee which also acts as the Remuneration and
Compensation Committee.
While remaining a non-executive I have actively participated in investor and shareholder presentations,
capital raising activities, negotiations with strategic investors, program and technology suppliers and in
the stead of the Executive Chairman when he has been unable to attend meetings in Sydney.
As part of the Board I have acted to set the company’s strategy for the future and to deliver the funding
required by management to fulfil its business plans. In the past year we have successfully, via both
placement and shareholder rights issues raised $2.1m, and are currently undertaking a rights issue for a
further $3m.
