    Lux Calculation for street Light:

    1. Technical Specification of Street Light:


    Light source: LED
    Lamp power: 40 watts
    Lamp Lumen: 110 lumen/watts
    Mounting Height: 8m

    2. LUX Calculation:

    Illuminance, E = I cos α /x2

    Where, I= Candle Power (1 CP) = 10.73 lumen


    So, 4400 Lumen=410.06 CP
    Beam angle (α) = 41.63 degree
    To calculate maximum lux, E= 6.4 lux
    To calculate minimum lux, E= 2 lux
