Bleaching 1st Procedure

1. Start the P05 pump oil will be taken from Degum tank and also start VT501
(Actuator Valve) that time oil pressure not more than 4kg/hr and transfer to the
T501-1 tank.
2. The T501-1 tank under the vacuum pressure that pressure maximum level is
100 tor but maintain the pressure 50 – 60 tor
3. The capacity of the tank is 10 ton and coil surrounded by tank for maintain the
oil temperature up to 700C
4. oil transfer from T501-1(Tank) to PHE (Plat Heat Exchanger) to maintain oil
temperature between 700C to 800C
5. Start the P635BE-1 (pump) because oil comes from PHE to 635BE-1 (Bleacher
Mixer) then add. Bleaching earth in to the 635BE-1 (Bleacher Mixer) tank @ rate
of 4% that time Bleacher Mixer speed keep nearby 16 RPM.
6. Bleacher Earth Mixed oil comes to the 635AC-1 tank (Activated Carbon) add.
Activated Carbon in that oil @ rate of 1% and that time maintain the Activated
Carbon Mixer speed up to the 24 RPM.
7. When Activated Carbon Mixer tank level goes to 75% then open VR635AC-1
(Control Valve) after mixed oil goes to (T622-1) Bleacher Tank.
8. In Bleacher tank keep vacuum pressure up to 60 tor.
9. Start all of three V-622-S-1 (Low Pressure Steam) LP Steam and keep the steam
pressure up to 3 bar.
10. Maintain the oil temperature up to 1000C to 1100C through steam by using
coils around the T622-1 (Bleacher Tank).
11. After 10 – 15 minutes start two pumps from this P622- (1A, 1B, 1C, 1D).
12. That oil goes to PLF-1(Pressure Leaf Filter) for the filtration process.
13. In PLF-1 filtration process start that time keep vacuum pressure @
4kg/hours.
14. In PLF-1 working steps following
15. [Standby Off] [Standby On] [ Close V9 Valve] [Filling] [Precoating]
[ Filtration] [Transfer to another Filter] [Drying] [Security Drain]
[Depressurization] [Open] [Discharge] [Standby Open] [Standby
Close] [Final Recirculation] [Drain to 622].
a) Filling – In the filling process to keep pump pressure between 4.5
to 5 bar.
b) Keep valve open (V1 and V2) for the filling process ,oil fills in PLF
through valve V1 and V2.
c) If PLF fully filled then high level indicator indicate.
d) Pre-coating – If PLF full filled then oil goes to precoating process in
precoating process (auto)keep valve open (V1,V3,V11).
e) Then oil circulation from PLF to Bleacher start.
f) The maximum time keep for process is 900 sec.
g) Filtration – keep valve (V1,V4) opens then filter oil will goes to
tank 682B from 682B tanks oil goes to De-waxing process.
h) Filter to Filter transfer – In this process keep valve(V6, V7) open
and also give steam through V6 valve. Oil transfer from one filter
to another filter.
i) Drying – oil transfer one PLF to another then its goes to drying. In
Drying give steam through V6 to the used Bleacher Earth in PLF.
j) When spent earth dried then oil doesn’t appear in V7 side glass.
k) Security Drain – Keep Valve (V6,V7,V8) open if oil is remain then
that oil transfer to the Cloudy Tank
l) Depressurization - after Security Drain open valve (V8, V2) and
release steam from PLF.
m) Open V9 – Keep open V9 valve for drain dry spent earth.
n) Discharge – In this process Keep valve (V9,V10,V2) open and start
Vibrators of PLF for drain spent earth.
o) Standby Open – Keep Valve(V9,V2) open.
p) Close – Close valve V9, V2 remains open
q) Standby Off – when PLF is Empty then keep V9 remains close, and
V2 open but PLF is not ready for filling.
r) Standby On – Keep open V2 valve, and V9 close then PLF is ready
for filling.
s) Filling – Start PLF filling.
16. Then oil transfer to the 616C1-1 or 616C-2 (Polish Filter) for again filtration it
removes remaining dust particle from oil, keep oil flow up to 4kg/hr
17. After oil transfer to the Dewaxing.
