RATIONALE
To equip all SK’s in the Barangay with the fundamental principles of Katipunan ng Kabataan in the
implementation of the Programs, Projects and Activities that could help improve the quality of life in the
family and to the community.

COURSE/ TRAINING DESCRIPTION

The course employed lecture discussion on the important issues affecting the youth especially in drugs
and its strategy, vis-à-vis roles and functions of SK’s. Also a lecture-workshop on the preparation of an
SK Action Plan for CY 2018-2022 and knowledge of different committees that will enable the participants
to fully understand its importance in project implementation. Development of Personal integrity will be
included.

OBJECTIVES
At the end of the Assembly, the participants will be able:
a) To acquire knowledge in the Fundamental Principles of Katipunan ng Kabataan
b) To fully acquaint himself on how to prepare an Action Plan
c) To have the capacity for full participation in pursuing the Anti-Drug Priorities of the government
d) To know the basic concept of Personal Integrity Development
EXPECTED OUTPUT
The outputs of the Assembly are as follows:

a) The SK’s have the knowledge in the Fundamental Principles of Katipunan ng Kabataan
b) The Participants have an Action Plan for CY 2018-2022
c) They have the knowledge on how to pursue the participation on anti-drug campaign of the
government and on the same manner the knowledge on the personal integrity development.

CAUSE/ASSEMBLY CONTENT
The assembly will cover the following:
• Consultations on Important Issues Affecting the Youth
• Discussion on the SK Action Plan CY 2018-2022
• Updates on the KK Membership List
• Personal Integrity Concept
• Discussion on the SK Action Plan with regard the Anti-Drug Abuse Campaign and its implementing law

METHODOLOGY
The Assembly will be conducted through a participatory and interactive process. Considering that there
are expected outputs to be done, the SK’s and KK’s shall present their opinion for the development of an
action plan for CY 2018-2022.

TARGET PARTICIPANTS

The activity will be attended by all SK and KK Members of Barangay Candanay Sur, Siquijor.

COURSE DURATION/DATE

The assembly will be conducted on July 15, 2018 in the afternoon.

BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS
The activity will have an estimated expenditures of the following:

A) To provide one (1) snack good for 150 persons during the conduct of the 1st Katipunan ng Kabataan
General Assembly in July 15, 2018
78 bottles of soft drinks — P 1, 014.00
150 Siopao — P 2,550.00
