Senior Coal Geologist

PT Rajawali Corpora (RC) is a leading investment holding company with core businesses in agriculture,
mining & resources, and hotel & property.

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Coal Geologist for our mining business.

Responsibilities:
• Provide evaluation on the acquisition and farm-in opportunities,
• Plan, manage and execute field exploration activity including mapping, drilling and logging program,
• Integrate relevant concepts and data to produce a technical sound geologic model and resource
estimation,
• Liaise with local community and local government,
• Preparing Technical Project Reports.

Education & Work Experience:

• Bachelor degree from Geology,
• Minimum 10 years experience in coal exploration/prospecting or coal mining.

Technical Skills:
• Exploration senior coal geologist capabilities,
• GIS and mining software knowledge and experience is an advantage,
• Fluency in both verbal and written English,
• Strong organizational skills,
• Strong analytical and negotiating skills.

 Senior Geologist

Our client is coal mining group base in Samarinda. And Jakarta. Currently they are looking
for Senior Geologist to oversee their plant expansion.

Job Requirements

 Minimum 10 (ten) years experience, preferable in mineral exploration

 Bachelor degree from faculty of Geology
 Computer Literate in using MS office & Internet
 Able to operate mining software: Surfer, Surpac, Minescape, MapInfo, AutoCad, GPS
Mapper)
 Able to make progress report on designated project
 Able to identify geological structure, out crop, and bedrock
 Resource definition and estimation, including quality assurance and quality control
procedures
 Coordination (with the Group) to develop and maintain official and audited Mineral
Resource and Ore Reserve estimates
 Preparation of technical reports for the various feasibility studies and quarterly
statutory government reports
 Good knowledge about Safety / K3 procedure
 Good health and able to work under pressure with good result and always seek best
solution to solve problem
 To be located in remote area, with rotation schedule

• Bachelor degree in Geology Engineering
• Preferably hold POP Certification
• Min. 2 years working experience in the same position (preferably in coal mining industries)

Sr. Mine Geologist (SMG) / Mine Geologist (MG)

• Bachelor degree in Geology Engineering
• Preferably hold POP Certification
• Expert in all activities and coal handling from Pit to Port
• Min. 2 years working experience in the same position (preferably in coal mining industries)

Sr. Mine Engineer (SME) / Mine Engineer (ME)

• Bachelor degree in Mining Engineering
• Preferably hold POP Certification
• Familiar with SURPAC/MINESCAPE Mining software
• Be able to plan, control, manage and review short term & long term (SME) / short term (ME) quality data
for planning purposes and compare with production requirements
• Min. 2 years working experience in the same position (preferably in coal mining industries)

CPP Supervisor (CPPS) / CPP Foreman (CPPF)

• Bachelor degree in Mining, Geology or Chemical
• Preferably hold POP Certification
• Have strong competency on stockpile & coal quality
• Min. 2 years working experience in the same position (preferably in coal mining industries)

Environmental Supervisor (ENVS) / Health & Safety Officer (HSO)

• Bachelor degree in Forestry, Agriculture, Biology or Environmental Engineering (ENVS) and Diploma
Safety Engineering or equivalent (HSO)
• Have knowledge in Risk & Environmental Assessment, Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment Control
and have experience to handle waste management and procedure (ENVS)
• Familiar with erosion, sendimentation and revegetation (ENVS) / Familiar with OHSAS 18001, SMK3
(HSO)
• Preferably hold POP Certification and AMDAL A certificate (ENVS) / hold K3 Certification & HIPERKES
(HSO)
• Min. 3 years working experience (ENVS) / Min. 1 year working experience (HSO) in the same position
(preferably in coal mining industries)

Surveyor (SVY)
• Min. Diploma degree and can operated survey software
• Min. 3 years working experience in the same position (preferably in coal mining industries)

Mechanical Foreman (McF)

• Min. Diploma degree
• Have experience on maintenance: Crusher, Conveyor (having ability to handle gear box, splicing belt,
welding, etc)
• Min. 2 years work experience in coal mining

ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION

Sr. Road Surveyor (SRS)

• Min. Diploma degree from Geodetic
• Experience with Electronic total station, GPS, etc
• Familiar with MS office suite, word processing & spreadsheets, autocad land development, arc view,
liscad
• Have basic knowledge of construction terminology and techniques
• Have ability to read and interpret legislation & standards, plans & drawings
• Min. 5 years working experience in road construction works survey (preferably in construction, mining,
or similar industries)

Civil/Structure Engineer (CVE)

• Min. Diploma degree from Civil
• Familiar with civil design engineering & supervise
• Min. 3 years work experience in coal mining

W/H & Logistic Supervisor (WLS)

• Min. Diploma degree
• Experienced with all aspect of warehouse supervision such as receivables, Issuing, Reorders,
Cataloguing contract labour
• Min. 5 years work experience in mining / contruction
