- Knife / Blade
- Boiling Water
- 1 large beaker
- 6 250 ml small beakers
- Ammonia , NH3
- Sodium Bicarbonate, NaHCO3
- Sodium Carbonate, Na2CO3
- Citric Acid, C6H8O7
- Acetic Acid, CH3COOH
- Calcium Carbonate, CaCO3
- Carbonic Acid, H2CO3
- Sodium Hydroxide, NaOH
- Hydrochloric Acid, HCl

Procedure:

1. Chop or slice the Red Cabbage into small pieces with a knife or a blade.
2. Immersed the small pieces of Red Cabbage into the boiling water and let it sit until
the colour leaches out of the cabbage.
3. Filter out the red cabbage in the solution to obtain the red-purple coloured liquid.
4. Pour about 50-100 ml into the 250 ml beaker
5. Pour about 10cm3 of Ammonia, NH3 into the red-purple solution.
6. Observe and record the changes in colour.
