Definition of terms

Children. It is a human being between the stages of birth and puberty. Generally refers

to a minor, otherwise known as a person younger than the age of majority.

Down Syndrome. It is a genetic disorder caused by the presence of all or part of a third

copy of chromosome 21. Chromosomal condition that is associated with intellectual

disability, a characteristic facial appearance, and weak muscle tone in infancy.

Teachers. Person who helps others to acquire knowledge, competences or values.

Refers to the most influential and powerful forces for equity, access and quality in

education and key to sustainable global development.

Classroom. It is a learning space, a room in which both children and adults learn about

things that is found in educational institutions of all kinds, from preschools to

universities, and may also be found in other places where education or training is

provided.

Behavior. The way in which one acts or conducts oneself, especially toward others. It is

the range of actions and mannerisms made by individuals, organisms, systems, or

artificial entities in conjunction with themselves or their environment

Support. The act of helping someone by giving love and encouragement; help that is

given in the form of money or other valuable things. Give assistance to, especially

financially; enable to function or act.
