European Safety standards for the construction
and installation of lifts:

EN 81-70: 2004 on accessibility to lifts for

persons including persons with disability.
EN 81-71: 2005 on vandal-resistant lifts.
EN 81-72: 2004 on firefighters' lifts.
EN 81-73: 2005 on behaviour of lifts in the
event of fire.

In addition, all our lifts comply with the following

standards:

EN 81-58 on doors.
EN 81-28 on remote alarm.

Every lift delivery includes a CD with general
arrangement drawings, wiring diagrams, installation
procedure, certificates etc.

Car design
The car and lift design complies on request with all
applicable UK and EEC rules and regulations including
the Disability Discrimination Act. We follow the safety
rules for the construction and installation of lifts
–Particular applications for passenger and goods-
passenger lifts- Part 70: accessibility to passenger lifts
including persons with disability.

We offer four standardised finish levels, but can meet

any decorative or site requirement.

200 series cars are made of and decorated in

skin plate. Due to its attractive & actual colour
mix and functionality it adapts itself to houses
and apartments and merges with the environment
in a homogenous and harmonious form.

300 series: The Series 300 offers laminate cabins

which provide a perfect mix of quality and
functionality. It is the ideal selection for its whole
concept, its structure and its design.

700 and 500 series: In those occasions where

the environment requires the finest elegance
and luxury in every detail, this range fulfils the
highest customer’s expectations.

Panoramic and other bespoke lifts.

All our cars are synonymous to our high level of craftsmanship and
attention to detail. Our range of high quality finishes includes: rubber,
vinyl, granite, aluminium chequer plate or marble flooring, PVC
covered, stainless steel or wooden handrails and an attractive
selection of ceiling plates.

Fire Fighter Lifts

BS EN 81-72 Particular applications for passenger
and goods passenger lifts. Firefighters lifts.

Many buildings and environments require our lifts

to be provided with additional protection controls
and signals. We ensure the protection and equipment
against water and follow the regulation to ease the
rescue from inside or outside the lift car in case of
fire: emergency trapdoors, accessible ladders, priority
recall for the firefighter lift and use of the lift under
firefighters control.

Safety requirements and/or protective measures:

Fundamental firefighters lift requirements.

Protection of electrical equipment against water.
Rescue of trapped firefighters in the lift car.
Car doors and landing doors.
Lift machine and associated equipment.
Control Systems: phase 1 priority recall for the

The new lift control Altamira is based
on low power consumption
microprocessor technology. Our
controller uses state of the art
communication devices complying
with the EN81-28 regulation. We
offer monitoring facilities as well as
a diagnostic tool for installation and
service. All electrical equipment
undergoes a full quality test in our
factory.
