Gujarat State Highways Project : PCC Services (Phase I, IIA
& IIB) – World Bank Funded
Client : Roads and Buildings Department, Government of Gujarat
The project involved feasibility study and preparation of detailed
design for 37 major bridges and 60 minor bridges. LASA carried out
detail topographic survey and hydrological survey, detail sub-soil
investigation, environmental and social feasibility study and
environmental impact assessment, detailed engineering design and
drawing, cost estimation, BoQ preparation, preparation of
specification and tender documents.
Feasibility Study and Preparation of Detailed Project Report
for Four Laning and Strengthening of Existing Road between
Trichy Bypass to Madurai via MDR Route, National Highway –
45 (World Bank funded)
Client : National Highways Authority of India
The project comprised of one major bridge, one flyover, one ROB
and 10 minor bridges. LASA carried out detailed topographical and
hydrological investigations, fixation of span arrangement and general
arrangement of bridge, detailed subsoil investigation, environmental
and social feasibility study and environmental impact assessment
(EIA), preparation of detailed engineering design and drawings, cost
estimation, preparation of specification and tender documents.
Feasibility Study and Preparation of Detailed Project Report
for Major Bridge Across River Mapusa
Client : Economic Development Corporation, Government of Goa
The length of the proposed bridge over Mapusa is 670 m with three
span continuous structures having central navigational span of 70.0
meters (c/c of pier) with adjacent spans of 55.0 meters each. LASA
was responsible for conducting detailed traffic survey, analysis and
traffic forecast, selection of bridge alignment, topographical survey,
EIA and SIA, economic and financial analysis, sub-soil investigation,
hydrological investigation, hydraulic calculation, finalisation of GAD
and structural scheme, detailed structural design, detailed design of
barge impact structure, preparation of BOQ and cost estimation.
Madhya Pradesh State Road Project: Survey Investigation
and Preparation of Project Report under Bond Scheme Group
‘B’
Client : Public Works Department, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh
Ten major and twenty-five minor bridges were undertaken during
project preparation. LASA conducted topographic survey, detail
subsoil investigation, hydrological data collection/calculation,
preparation of GAD, detail structural design, preparation of structural
drawings, preparation of detailed specification, preparation of BoQ,
cost estimation, tender documents and implementation schedule.

Rehabilitation and Upgrading on Nagpur Adilabad section of
NH-7
Client : National Highways Authority of India
The project involved 3 major bridges, one ROB and 8 minor bridges.
The services rendered by LASA were condition survey for existing
structure, repair & rehabilitation of the existing structure, preparation
of preliminary designs, detail topographical survey and sub-soil
investigation, detailed engineering design and drawing, cost
estimation, specification, approval from railway authority and
preparation of bid document.

Client : National Highways Authority of India
14 major and 28 minor bridges were undertaken for feasibility study
and preparation of detailed project report. LASA was engaged to
conduct topographic survey, condition survey of the existing bridges,
detail sub-soil investigation, hydrological data collection, preparation
of GAD, detail structural design and drawing, preparation of repair &
rehabilitation strategy of the existing bridges, preparation of detailed
drawings involving repair methodology, preparation of BoQ,
preparation of specification and bid documents.
Four laning of NH 8A & 8B Bagdogra to Rajkot : Quality
Assurance and Technical Audit
Client : Roads & Building Department, Government of Gujarat
The project involved four major bridges. LASA was engaged to
review contractor’s construction planning, project scheduling,
contractors set up, work programme and methodology of
construction, implementation of contractual requirements, quality
control of materials for construction and monitor quality of
workmanship. Provide guidance in setting up of plant and machinery
at site and Training and Technology transfer
Maharashtra Sub-Project (MH-I, MH-II and MH-III) under
Second National Highway Project (World Bank Funded)
Client : Ministry of Surface Transport, Government of India
The project involved construction of new major bridge across Bassein
Creek on NH-8. Besides this bridge the project stretch has four major
bridges, 10 minor bridges and several cross drainage works to be
widened to 4 lanes on NH-8. The services rendered by LASA are
supervision of contract conditions, monitoring resource planning,
scheduling, coordination with client and contractor, quantity
surveying and quality control.
Project Engineering Services for Vadodara -Halol Road
Project
Client : Vadodara- Halol Toll Road Company (An SPV of GoG &
IL&FS)
The project involved one major and one minor bridge. LASA was
engaged to provide proof checking; construction supervision; quality
assurance, quality control and project management consultancy
activities.

Project Management for Bridge across River Tapi at Surat
Client : Surat Municipal Corporation
The project comprised of construction of 4 lane wide major bridge.
LASA was involved in approval of the quality manual/quality
management plan prepared by the contractor, supervision of the
construction work on behalf of the client, certification for all the
works for conformance to specifications, monitoring the progress of
work at site (financial as well as physical).

U.P./Uttaranchal Border
Client : Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of
India
Two major bridges, 3 ROBs and four minor bridges are undertaken
for conducting Feasibility Study and Detailed Project Report. The
services rendered are condition survey, detailed topographical
survey, sub-soil investigation, hydrological investigation, preparation
of GAD’s, preparation of detail structural design and drawings for
execution, design of Toll Plaza, preparation of repair & rehabilitation
strategy for existing structures, repair methodology and drawings,
preparation BoQ, preparation of specification and bid documents.
Owner’s Engineer Design Services for Six laning of Jaipur-
Kishangarh Section of NH-8 on BOT Basis
Client : GVK Jaipur-Kishangarh Expressway Pvt. Ltd.
Three major bridges, five flyovers and ten minor bridges are
undertaken for detailed design. The services rendered are condition
survey, detailed topographical survey, sub-soil investigation,
hydrological investigation, preparation of GAD’s, preparation of detail
structural design and drawings for execution, design of toll plaza,
preparation of repair & rehabilitation strategy for existing structures,
repair methodology and drawings and preparation of BoQ.
Third National Highways World Bank Project: Detailed
Project Report for Upgradation of Ahemedabad-Mumbai
Section from Km 91/5 to 263/0 on NH-8
Client : National Highways Authority of India
The project comprises of 30 major bridges, 64 minor bridges, 12
flyovers and 3 ROB. The services rendered are condition survey of
the existing bridges, detailed topographical survey, detailed sub-soil
investigation, detailed hydrological investigations, preparation of
GAD’s, detailed structural design, preparation of structural drawings
for execution, design of Toll Plaza, preparation of repair &
rehabilitation strategy for existing structures, preparation of detailed
drawings involving repair methodology, preparation of BoQ,
preparation of specification and bid documents.
Ahmedabad Mehsana Toll Road Project: ROB, RUB and Minor
Bridges
Client: Ahmedabad – Mehsana Toll Road Co. Ltd.
The project involved construction of cross drainage structures &
underpasses, reconstruction of 2 minor bridges, 2 ROBs and 1 RUB.
LASA was engaged for project management & construction, contract
administration, review & approval of detailed design/drawings of
structures, review & approval of QAP & programme schedules, site
supervision including materials & workmanship, traffic management,
checking survey & setting out, monitoring of environmental & social
covenants implementation.

Sone Bridge at Ch. 326.847 : Construction Supervision for 4-
laning and strengthening of the Existing two lane stretches
on NH-2 (Grand Trunk Road World Bank Project) (World
Bank funded)
Client: National Highways Authority of India
Sone Bridge is one of the most important bridges on the Grand Trunk
Road. LASA is responsible for project management, proof checking of
drawings and specifications, supervision of works, Quality Control
testing and Quality Assurance Systems, review and certification,
contract management, development and operation of MIS,
implementation of environment management plan, training &
technology transfer.
Restoration of Bridges in Earthquake Affected Areas under
World Bank Aided Emergency Earthquake Reconstruction
Programme (World Bank funded)
Client: Roads & Buildings Department, Government of Gujarat
The Govt. of Gujarat has embarked upon a major repair/rehabilitation
programme on about 170 major/minor bridges damaged by severe
earthquake on 26th January 2001. The services included assessment
of existing bridges, ranking of bridges, detailed topographical survey
& sub-soil investigation, preparation of detail design/drawings,
finalization of repair & rehabilitation strategy, preparation of BOQ,
specifications, cost estimation and bid documents.
Engineering Consultancy Services for Four Laning of
Panagarh Palsit Section of NH-2 on BOT Basis
Client: MAPEX Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd.
The project involves one ROB structure and one flyover. LASA is
engaged for reviewing and proof checking of designs, drawings and
estimates, alternate design and outstanding design services,
preparation of detailed hydrological report, preparation of BOQ &
estimates, value engineering, material investigation & testing,
condition survey; construction supervision, quality assurance and
quality control and project management.
Engineering Consultancy Services for 4-Laning of Durgapur
Expressway on NH-2 in the State of West Bengal
Client: EMAS Expressway Pvt. Ltd.
The project involves 2 major bridges, 5 flyovers and one ROB. LASA’s
scope of services include review & proof checking of
designs/drawings & estimates, option study for different structural
schemes, alternate design & outstanding design services, preparation
of detailed design/drawings, value engineering, material investigation
& testing, construction supervision, quality assurance/ quality control,
contract management.
