AMENDMENT intended to be proposed by Mr. WARNER (for
himself, Mr. HOEVEN, and Ms. CORTEZ MASTO) to the
amendment (No. 3399) proposed by Mr. SHELBY
Viz:
1 On page 424, line 12, strike the period and insert
2 ‘‘Provided further, That of the amount appropriated under
3 this heading, up to $6,000,000 shall be used for providing
4 matching funds to qualified commercial entities seeking to
5 demonstrate or validate technologies that the Federal
6 Aviation Administration considers essential to the safe in-
7 tegration of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) in the Na-
8 tional Airspace System at Federal Aviation Administra-
9 tion designated UAS test sites: Provided further, That not
10 later than 60 days after the date of enactment of this Act,

1 the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration
2 shall identify essential integration technologies that could
3 be demonstrated or validated at test sites designated in
4 accordance with the preceding proviso.’’.
