He graduated from the Toulouse Music Conservatory in his hometown. In 1984, he left France for the USS. to lear at the Musicians Institute of Technology in Los Angeles where he received the Best Guitar of the Year Award. In 1989 and 1992 he was awarded third and second prize at the Billboard Song Contest. For three years he was musical director of the Johnny Hune TV show. He has written two guitar method books addressing Jazz, Fusion and Rock soloists and recorded one solo album.
