Rev 01/17
Your application for a visit visa to the United Kingdom has been refused.
In deciding whether you meet the requirements of Appendix V: Immigration Rules for visitors
(https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/immigration-rules), I have considered:
your application, and any additional relevant information you have provided with it,
your immigration history
The decision
I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the
requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2 – V4.10 because
You state your parents will fund your visit. However, the bank statements seen do not demonstrate
adequate funds are available to you.
I have not seen any documentation to suggest that you have any financial or other assets in Egypt.
It is the intentions of the applicant that are paramount in considering any application and without
this information, I am not satisfied that you are a genuine visitor. In addition, I consider that you do
not have strong enough economic or social ties to Egypt to satisfy me that you intend to leave the
United Kingdom. I am not satisfied that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor for a limited
period or that you intend to leave the United Kingdom at the end of the period of the visit as stated
by you. I am also not satisfied that you have sufficient funds to cover all reasonable costs in relation
to your visit without working or accessing public funds. Your application is therefore refused under
Appendix V 4.2 – 4.10.
Future applications
Any future UK visa applications you make will be considered on their individual merits, however you
are likely to be refused unless the circumstances of your application change.
