I am writing in regard to the posting on your companies’ website for a Survey Crew
Chief. I believe that I have the necessary skills and experience you are looking for, and

As my resume shows, I possess more than ten years of progressive experience in the
Land Survey field. My working history includes positions such as Survey Foreman at
Staker Parson Companies as well as Survey Technician at Chris Corp.

Most recently, my responsibilities as a Right of Way/Survey Technician at Horrocks

Engineers match the qualifications you are seeking. As a Right of Way Technician, my
responsibilities included an extensive knowledge of the UDOT right-of-way process,
CAD standards, surveying standards and UDOT survey codes. I assisted in the
successful completion of the Right of Way acquisition for the 4100 South Expansion
project for UDOT and West Valley City. My supervisor routinely relied on my ability to
create and maintain all of the acquisition documentation as well as the right of way
design and drafting.
