PRESS RELEASE

The Assam Public Service Commission is pleased to declare the results of the
Combined Competitive (Main) Exam., 2014 on today the 18th May, 2016. A total of
1536 candidates appeared in the said examination out of 2048 candidates.
Based on the said results of the C.C. Exam., 2014, a total of 371 candidates are
declared to have qualified to appear the viva-voce interview against 180 posts of ACS
and Allied Services at the ratio of 1:2 plus the number of candidates who secured
equal marks at the bottom line of each category with due regards to the prescribed
reservations as per the terms of the advertisement. Out of the 371 candidates called
for viva-voce, 126 candidates belong to women category and 8 candidates belong to
Persons with Disabilities (PWD).
The Commission has decided to hold the viva-voce interview tentatively w.e.f.
15.06.2016 onwards.

and another of Barak Valley for wide circulation. He is also requested to instruct
the concerned officer to send a copy of each News Paper publishing the Press
Release to the undersigned.
