Abstract–
In this project work, we have planned to design
and fabricate a Magnetic Gear drive which will
utilize Electric energy as an input source and
further with the help of magnetic gear drive we
will be transmitting the speed variation at output
shaft. Using Magnetic Gear drive we will be able
to increase or decrease the output speed at the
output shaft .So by using the no of gears we will
be able to transmit different gear ratios. Now
days the very conventional method for
transmission of power and torque is throughA
magnetic gear uses permanent magnets to
transmit torque between an input and output
Approximate cost: 13000/-
shaft without mechanical contact.In magnetic
gear drive the friction losses would be spur
gears. While transmission there occur some
Additional figure: losses from which the major loss is the friction
losses completely removed as there is no contact
between them. To minimize such losses the
lubrication is done.

Assembly–
1. Select Design Parameters
2. Select material
3. Select size of each component
4. Assemble
5. Testing

Conclusion:
Magnetic gear drive is use by eliminatingthe
spur gearbox becausethe gearbox brings
Advantages additional weight and costs, demands regular
1 Increased efficiency maintenance, generates noise andincurs losses.
2 High reliability Magnetic gear drive helps insolving some
3 Low maintenance problems such as overweight of the structure,
4 No transmission oil gearbox compound damage, etc., manyother
design and manufacturing difficulties still
remain.
