    Calavite Wildlife Sanctuary

    Address: Paluan, Mindoro

    Description: MCWS is one of the three main homes of the now-endangered tamaraw (Bubalus mindorensis),
    along with several more endemic plant and animal species, a notable number of which have also been
    classified as threatened. As such, the area, situated on the rugged northwestern tip of Mindoro, is well-
    considered in terms of conservation significance.
