Your acceptance of our offer was very timely.

We have a board meeting planned 2 weeks ahead. This is the perfect time for you to introduce yourself and spur
their interest in our new strategic planning process focusing on a revision on our Go to Market Strategy for Orvin
Global. A couple of challenges are up the list and we would need your fresh perspective there.
James Patterson, our CEO, fully supports this planning process. But don’t expect the board to embrace all the ideas
without some persuasion. Some members in the board are old school and will want that no new or risky proposals
be accepted.

You need to stir their enthusiasm and show them that it is a great opportunity.
Primarily answer the following questions:

1. Your recommendation on Business Challenges with suggestions for each aspect.

2. Which other stakeholders or constituents matter most for our success? What about internal revamp on
processes and people?

3. Talent – Approach for Talent retention and development?

4. What would be the key levers that you will need to address internally and externally to minimize the risk
of going out of Innovative leader tag?

5. Go to market strategy for Orvin Global in the growth markets (Africa/ UAE & India)

6. What insights can we bring regarding distribution channels, culture, geopolitical factors, etc., given the
market opportunities presented?
