Portrait Lighting Assignment # 1

In groups of 3 - 4 , your task is to complete the following lighting assignments.

Each lighting pose should be completed with two different subjects, and two different photographers.
Each member of the group should have at least one opportunity to be the subject and the photogra-
pher.

You will be evaluated on the description of the lighting, and the effectiveness of the lighting in your
photo.

Each group should hand in document with 10 photos, and save the photos as
- group1-broad-a group1-broad-b
- group1-short-a group1-short-b
etc.

Take shots until you get a good photo and your subject looks good.
Take the photos into Photoshop and retouch it until it looks good (contrast, levels, healing brush, Black and
white - desaturate).
Layout project in InDesign with definitions and labels for each.
