RACING CLUB DE LENS

French Professional Football Club

Racing Club de Lens, is a professional club founded in January 1906 and is headquartered in Avion,
three kilometers from the old mining town.

RC Lens account won two national titles first order obtained under the orders of "Druid" Daniel
Leclercq: France championship, won in 1998 and the League Cup, obtained the following season. At
European level, the club has reached in 2000 the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup and won the Intertoto
Cup in 2005.

Since 18 June 1933, RC Lens's stadium-resident Bollaert-Delelis (formerly Félix-Bollaert stadium until
September 2012), now Euro 1984 one of the greatest speakers in France in seating capacity. The
stadium will be renovated for Euro 2016.

The RC Lens is recognized as a popular club, his fervent public accompanies the club for many years

Infrastructure

Stadium Bollaert–Delelis

The stadium was a candidate for the reception of Euro 2016. On 20 May 2011, Bollaert is one of nine
designated stages. The renovation project, valued at 78 million euros, is expected to raise the
capacity of the stadium about 44 000 spectators. In September 2012, the enclosure was renamed
stadium Delelis-Bollaert, named after André Delelis, former mayor of Lens.

For Euro 2016, the stadium will be renovated and will reduce its capacity to 38,233 seats. The stage
of the project to 44 000 seats was abandoned as a result of the reduction of the budget increased
from 90 million to 70 million.

In 2002, the city of Lens, owner of the stadium, concedes a long lease fifty years Lens club. So it was
he who manages and maintains the stadium at will. Only the most important works are borne in the
Lens municipality.
The training center and training

The Gaillette is the technical training center and training of Racing Club de Lens, opened on 10
October 2002 in the presence of the President of RCL Gervais Martel, the Sports Minister Jean-
Francois Lamour and the President of the NFL Thiriez. The center has twelve courses, including the
Duomo, synthetic ground covered and heated over 8500 m2, one of the largest in Europe, or
Wembley, the lawn is the same as Delelis-Bollaert.

The Gaillette welcomes twelve teams (age 9 to CFA) and 150 young people in training rooms for
accommodating young players, weight rooms, rehabilitation and recovery, a spa area, an
amphitheater 250 bed, a dining room, a space dedicated to the administration of the club and the
RCL TV channel. The total cost of this equipment is valued at € 15 million Training side, an aspect that
the club has focused with the opening of the Gaillette, the center level asserts itself more and more
players who managed to break into the world of football.

The center is ranked 5th in the 2012 ranking of French training centers established by the National
Technical Directorate (he was 12th in 2010) and is confirmed in category A, the highest level for a
training center in France Regarding resources dedicated to training.
